Part jam session, movement meditation, and part technique lab,
VERTEX invites participants to share skills, drop into synchronicity through breath, repetition, and release. Blending improvisational tools, somatic awareness, and rhythmic exploration, cultivating a moving practice that’s grounded, fluid, and in conversation with live or curated DJ sets.
Named after the astrological point of synchronicity, VERTEX is a somatic workshop series rooted in house, contemporary, and modern forms. It explores the dialogue between music and movement. How rhythm becomes sensation, how the floor becomes a collaborator, how the body listens and responds.
Building an atmosphere where dancers learn to listen like musicians. DJs are in touch with their bodies. Vocalists build & move with their sound. Fostering community and dissolving hierarchy by inviting everyone into a shared language of rhythm
and presence.

Accesibility & Intention
The heart of this series is about building something that feels artistically rich, deeply inclusive, and financially accessible. We know how important it is—especially now—to create spaces that are both nourishing and sustainable.
We’ll be using a three-tier sliding scale payment model, along with a few free slots per session, so that no one is turned away due to lack of funds. I am pretty committed to removing as many barriers to participation as possible while honoring the value of the work being shared.
